Food Allergies + Household Notice

Prairie Sourdough Co. is a home-based microbakery, which means bread is made in a regular home kitchen where other foods are also prepared. While I take care with cleaning, sanitation, and food handling, the kitchen is not allergen-free and cross-contact cannot be completely eliminated.

Allergen Information

Ingredients used in my kitchen may include:

Wheat and gluten

Milk

Eggs

Peanuts

Tree nuts

Sesame

Soy

All Prairie Sourdough Co. breads contain wheat/gluten. Specific products may contain additional allergens, which are listed with each product.

Because this is a home kitchen, I cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. If you have a severe or life-threatening food allergy, my products may not be suitable for you.

A Note About Pets

Yes, there are pets in my home.

No, they are not in the kitchen during baking, cooling, packaging, or food preparation.

Before production begins, the kitchen and food-contact surfaces are cleaned and sanitized, and pets are kept away from the food-preparation area throughout the baking process.

Because pets live in the household, however, I cannot represent the kitchen as completely allergen-free.
