At Prairie Sourdough Co., I believe in being transparent about how and where your bread is made. While everything is crafted with care, precision, and strict cleaning practices, my microbakery operates out of a regular home kitchen — which means it is not allergen-free.

Allergen Information

My kitchen may contain or come into contact with:

Peanuts
Tree nuts
Wheat
Gluten (all products contain gluten)
Dairy
Eggs
Sesame
Soy

Although surfaces, tools, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized before every bake, cross-contact cannot be completely eliminated. Because of this, my products are not suitable for individuals with severe or life-threatening food allergies.

A Note About Pets

Yes — I have pets in the home.
No — they are not in the kitchen during baking, cooling, packaging, or any food-related prep.

When I bake for orders, the kitchen becomes a closed, controlled workspace. Pets are fully removed from the area, surfaces are sanitized beforehand, and tools are handled with strict hygiene in mind. Still, because pets live in the home, I cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

I bake in a home-based microbakery that follows Alberta Health Services low-risk guidelines. My workspace is clean, organized, and carefully controlled to ensure safe, high-quality products. Please note, it is not an allergen-free environment.

I bake fresh every week. Place and pay for your order through the website by Monday at 12 PM, and your goodies will be baked fresh and ready for no-contact pickup or delivery Thursday between 5–6 PM.

Fresh bread, fresh cookies, and zero awkward small talk required. 😉

At Prairie Sourdough Co., I take pride in handcrafting every loaf and baked good with care. Because each item is freshly made to order, all sales are final. I cannot accept returns or offer refunds for perishable baked goods once they leave the bakery.

However, your satisfaction is very important to me! If there’s an issue with your order—such as a product arriving damaged, missing, or not as described—please contact me within 12 hours of pickup or delivery. I’ll work with you to resolve the problem, whether that’s offering a replacement for your order, store credit, or another solution that makes it right.

Prairie Sourdough Co. is a home-based microbakery, which means I bake small batches of fresh bread and goodies specifically for each week's orders. There are no walk-ins or ready-made loaves sitting on a counter.

To order, simply place and pay for your order through the website by Monday at 12 PM.

Your order will be baked fresh that Thursday and will be ready for local pickup or Devon delivery between 5–6 PM.

Pickup is self-serve and no-contact. Pickup instructions and the address are provided in your Thursday pickup email.

Devon delivery is $5 on orders under $15 and FREE on orders of $15 or more. Pick up is of course, free.

If you miss the Monday noon cutoff, no worries — your order will simply go into the queue for the following Thursday bake.
